Delicious over ice cream, apple pies, Christmas cakes and pancakes. 


Ingrediants : caramelised syrup (sugar,water) brown sugar, rum 12%, rum soaked raisins, sunflower oil, molasses, guar gum(stabiliser), mixed spice, cinnamon, citric acid.

Clootie Dumpling Sauce

The sauce is excellent.
I made a clootie dumpling for New Year and the sauce was perfect with warm clootie dumpling and ice cream. Our visitors really appreciated the delicious dessert.
Also made clootie dumpling ice cream covered with the sauce mixed with a liqueur. ( The bothy at Ben Nevis used to have that on its menu. )
